I loved this book! Garrett Graham was a stand-out character for me in the Off-Campus series so I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a book featuring his daughter, Gigi. While this book kicks off the new Campus Diaries series, I had a lot of fun seeing my favorite characters from the Off-Campus series make an appearance in this book. This book would work well as a stand-alone but I think that readers of the other books set in this world may get just a bit more out of the novel.
Gigi and Ryder were fantastic together and I loved the fact that they had hockey in common. Gigi and Ryder were both excellent in the sport and understood each other’s dedication and were able to help one another. I thought that they had wonderful chemistry together and there was enough spice to keep things very interesting. I loved the humor that was worked into the story and found myself laughing out loud more than once while listening to this story which rarely happens.
CJ Bloom and Teddy Hamilton did an amazing job of bringing this story to life. I thought that both of the narrators were able to add just the right amount of emotion to their reading to take the book to the next level. The humor of the story really shined during the performance which added a lot to the experience for me. I loved every moment of this audiobook and found it very hard to set aside. I am certain that the narration added to my overall enjoyment of this delightful novel.
I would highly recommend this book to others. I have realized that I have a soft spot for hockey romances and the humor in this story took my enjoyment to the next level. I cannot wait to read more of this entertaining series!

Landon gets called up to the NHL and meets one of the star players, Casey, who happens to be a very friendly man. Casey eventually invites Landon to live in his house while he plays with the team until the injured goalies can return. They are both dealing with some issues. Casey hates being alone, which is a problem when you live by yourself in a huge house. Landon is working his way through grief after losing someone close to him. As they spend more time together, they form a friendship and huge crushes on one another. I thought that the chemistry between this pair was very well done. The romance is a little more slow burn but it was nice to see things build between the pair. I listened to the audiobook and thought that the narrator did a great job with the story.

I thought that this was great! I love books filled with magic so when I saw the description of this book, I just knew that I had to give it a try and I was hooked almost immediately. Keltania and Valen were both great characters and I thought that they were the perfect match for one another. I found this book to be incredibly entertaining and I was glued to the pages until the very end.
Keltania has trained her whole life training as a druid to be a guard to a Winter Fae. She is determined to make sure her charge is kept safe regardless of the cost. Valen isn’t interested in having her protection and tries to ditch her at every opportunity. Things are not exactly as they seem at the Winter Court and before long Tania and Valen form a bond that they would have never expected. One secret leads to another and I love that the story was full of so many unexpected twists and turns. The story had plenty of action as the pair faced danger from a variety of sources.
I hated to put this book down so when I noticed that the audiobook had become available from my local library, I downloaded it right away and started listening to the story about halfway through. This worked perfectly because I was able to continue with the story even when I didn’t have the time to sit down and read. I thought that Alex Kydd and Amy Melissa Bently did a wonderful job of bringing this story to life. I loved the character voices that they used and thought that they added just the right amount of emotion to their reading. I do believe that their narration added to my overall enjoyment of the story.
I would not hesitate to recommend this book to others. I thought that this book was filled with just the right amount of excitement and the characters were easy to fall for. This is the first book in the series and I cannot wait to see what will happen next.

This was a very enjoyable read! I couldn’t wait to see what Meddy and her Aunties would have to deal with in this book. Meddy and Nathan are getting married and the Aunties are ready for the big day. The wedding will be taking place in England and they have hired a company similar to their own to handle all of the wedding details. Things get very interesting once the wedding festivities get underway.
I feel like the title of the book really should have been – How Meddy Missed Her Wedding. I thought that the story was funny but I really wished that Nathan had been present for more of the story. When Meddy learns that her wedding vendors are up to no good, they are determined to foil their plans. The Aunties are at their absolute best and are dressed to impress, complete with komodo dragon fascinators and a new list of English slang.
Risa Mei did a great job with this story. She did an amazing job of bringing this colorful cast of characters to life. I thought that she did a great job of bringing the humor of the story out. I had such a great time with this book that I found myself wanting to listen for hours at a time. I do believe that her narration added to my enjoyment of this story.
I would recommend this book to others. I didn’t like this book quite as much as the first book in the series but I still thought it was a very solid read. I would recommend reading the series in order if at all possible since the events of the first book are often referred to in this installment. I hope to see Meddy and the Aunties have more adventures in the future.

This was fun! I have had this book on my shelf for a long time and have heard great things about it so I thought it was finally time to give it a try. Meddy was a great character and her Aunties were just a lot of fun. I couldn’t wait to see how this group of characters would work everything out in the end.
Meddy’s mother sets her up on a date with what she thinks is a nice boy. It turns out that he isn’t so nice and things go very wrong on that date. So wrong that the night ends with Meddy and her Aunties trying to figure out what to do with his body. Everything that you could imagine (and some things you couldn’t) going wrong does and this family ends up trying to deal with the body while fulfilling their roles in their family’s wedding business.
Risa Mei did a fantastic job with the narration. She was able to bring this colorful cast of characters to life. Once I started listening to the story, I didn’t want to stop. She really brought the humor of the story out and made the listening experience very enjoyable. I do believe that her narration added to my overall enjoyment of the story.
I would not hesitate to recommend this book to others. I had a lot of fun with Meddy and her Aunties and cannot wait to see what kind of trouble they find in the next book in this series.

I enjoyed this one! I am so glad that I finally tackled this series. It was a lighter listen but had enough zombie action to keep my interest at all times. I really appreciated the humor that was worked into the story. I would recommend reading the series in order if at all possible since details from the first two books are frequently referred to in this installment.
In this installment, David and Sarah are trying to make it to the wall that has divided the United States in half. They have some pretty close calls with other survivors and pick up a couple of individuals to help them on their mission along the way. David is having a few side effects from his close call in the previous book that made things extremely interesting.
I listened to the audiobook and thought that Cassandra Campbell did a great job with the story. I really think that she has been the perfect narrator for this series. She really brought the characters to life and helped to make the story even more exciting. I would definitely pick up more books in the series if given the chance.

This was fun! I love zombie books and enjoyed the first book in this series so I decided to jump right into the second book. This book picks up shortly after the events of the first book so I would encourage others to read this series in order if at all possible. In this installment, David and Sarah have decided to go into business together, working to exterminate zombies for others.
There really weren’t any big surprises in the story but I had fun watching Sarah and David navigate a world full of zombies. Not to mention the evil scientist and the kid they end up partnered with. I thought that the humor in the story was well done and loved seeing just how much David and Sarah care about each other. There were a few surprises before that really had me worrying if Sarah and David were going to make it.
I listened to the audiobook and thought that Cassandra Campbell did a fantastic job with this story. I love the voices she uses for the characters and thought that she made the story feel even more exciting. She does a great job of delivering the humor of the story as well. I hope to start reading the next book in the series very soon.

I really enjoyed this story! Rachel is a single mother living with her mother in Florida. After losing her job, she decides to take a chance on a new position at a new hotel in Ohio so she packs up her daughter and makes the trip. It turns out the hotel isn’t even built yet so she gets to be a part of the process of designing and planning for future guests. Her new boss, Mason, is more of a mystery.
I loved Mason and Rachel together. Mason has been through a lot and I liked the fact that he is trying to move forward with his life. I thought that Mason and Rachel had fantastic chemistry together and I really liked the way that Mason was with Rachel’s daughter. The residents of the small town where the hotel is located were all wonderful and I loved the way they embraced Rachel and Maisey.
Sarah Naughton did a fabulous job with this story. I really felt the emotion of the characters and I thought that the voices that she used really helped to bring the story to life. Once I started listening to this story, I did not want to stop. I know that her performance added to my enjoyment of this story.
I would not hesitate to recommend this book to fans of contemporary romance. I thought that this romance felt very realistic and I quickly fell in love with both Rachel and Mason and wanted to see them have a future together....more

I had such a good time with this romance! Anna is still grieving the loss of her fiance when she decides to take their boat on the trip that they had planned. It doesn’t take long until she realizes that she needs a bit of help and hires Keane to sail with her. Keane was exactly what she needed. He was incredibly patient with Anna and willing to do whatever it is that she needs as she works through her grief.
I just loved these two together and thought that the chemistry that they shared was amazing. I thought that Anna showed a lot of growth over the course of the story and I loved that she was willing to go after what she decided she wanted. All of the secondary characters were well done and added a lot to the story.
I listen to the audiobook and thought that Sarah Naughton did a fantastic job with this story. I really liked the voices that she used for both the male and female characters. I must say that the accent she used for Keane was absolutely perfect. I am certain that her performance added a lot to my overall enjoyment of the story.
I would definitely recommend this book to fans of contemporary romance. I thought that this was a very well-done story filled with great characters. I thought that Anna’s grief was handled incredibly well and I couldn’t wait to see Anna and Keane find their happily ever after together.

I really enjoyed this book! After reading Just My Type, I knew that I wanted to read more of this talented author’s work and decided to give her previous novel a try. This ended up being another delightful romance with enough laughs to really keep me glued to my headphones. Sadie and Jack were both great characters and I enjoyed their journey from roommates to becoming a couple.
After being passed over for a promotion for someone less qualified once again, Sadie needs a change. She thinks that she is meeting Jack for a coffee date but it turns out Jack is looking for a roommate instead. The house is perfect and the rent is much more affordable, which is perfect since Sadie has just lost her job. She takes this opportunity to change gears and try to make her dream of running a florist business a reality.
I thought that Sadie and Jack were great together. I liked the fact that things moved rather slowly between them and they developed a friendship before anything else. They have both had some big issues in their past and I liked getting to see them start to open up to each other. I thought that they had great chemistry and I really wanted to see them find their happily ever after. Sadie’s friends were great and I thought that they added a lot to the overall story.
Addison Barnes did a fantastic job with the narration of this audiobook. I loved the voices that she used for the various characters and felt like she really was able to bring this story to life. I thought that she had a very pleasant voice and I had no problems listening to her narration for hours at a time. I do believe that her narration added to my enjoyment of this story.
I would not hesitate to recommend this book to others. I thought that this was a very solid romance with just the right amount of added humor. I wasn’t completely sold on the reasons behind the third-act break-up but I really enjoyed the journey overall.

I really liked this book! I liked it so much that I finished it in less than 24 hours once I finally started it because I just couldn’t put it down. As soon as I heard someone describe this book as a romance with a ghost, I knew that I had to read it. I am just sorry that I waited as long as I did to actually give it a try.
Florence was a fantastic character and I felt really bad for her for everything that she had been through. Her ex-boyfriend treated her horribly which has impacted her ability to finish her book and the editor doesn’t want to give her an extension. I loved the fact that she was a ghostwriter that sees ghosts. The story with the ghost was really fantastic. I loved Florence and Ben together. As they spent time together and got to know each other better, it quickly became obvious that they were perfect for each other.
This book had me feeling so many things. I thought that the parts of the book that dealt with grief were extremely well done and some of the most powerful in the book. It was great to see Florence and her family come together to support each other. I think that everything came together so well in this story and I loved seeing the changes that occur in Florence’s life.
I listened to the audiobook and thought that Eileen Stevens did a phenomenal job with this audiobook. I thought that she did a fantastic job of bringing the cast of characters to life. I was totally captivated by this book and felt like her narration added to my enjoyment of this story.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this story to others. I found it to be a really original romance with fantastic characters and a lot of heart. I did figure out some of the plot twists but I really enjoyed the journey. I do hope to read more of this author’s work soon.

I really enjoyed this book! I was a little worried when I noticed that the reviews for this book were pretty mixed but it was really calling to me so I decided to give it a go, and was almost immediately hooked. I was drawn in by the creepy cover but I stayed for the story. I liked Jane right away and was very curious about how the story would play out. I am so glad that I decided to give this book a try.
Jane doesn’t want to be a burden to the family she has been living with since the death of her parents so she decides that it is time to marry. She decides that Doctor Augustine is the best choice so she approaches him with a deal that they marry but that they keep it a business deal. She will take care of accounting so that he can focus on being the town’s doctor. She soon learns that she got a bit more than she bargained for. Augustine’s home holds a bunch of secrets that soon unravel. I was quite worried about what would eventually become of both Jane and Augustine. There were a lot of surprises worked into this story and I loved the fact that it kept me guessing until the very end.
I listened to the audiobook and thought Mandy Weston did a fantastic job with the narration. I believe that this is the first time that I have listened to this narrator’s work and I was very impressed. I thought that her voice was the perfect match to bring this story to life. I felt like I was right there with Jane as she worked to get to the bottom of the secrets found at Augustine’s home. I am positive that her narration added to my overall enjoyment of this story.
I would recommend this book to others. I thought that this was a really well-done gothic story that kept me guessing until the very end. I would definitely read more of this author’s work in the future.

Myrtle is on the case in another great mystery! Myrtle is traveling with her Aunt Helena rather reluctantly and it is really no surprise that things don’t go as planned. First, there is a jewel theft which is followed up by a murder. Myrtle is determined to get to the bottom of things in this surprisingly complex mystery. Myrtle and her governess, Miss Judson, definitely have their work cut out for them in this installment.
Myrtle is a fantastic character and I love the fact that the adults in her life are supportive and encouraging. Her Aunt Helena does have some pretty strong opinions about how a young lady should behave but it is evident just how much she really cares for Myrtle. This 12-year-old’s investigative skills are top notch and I am pretty sure that this crime would not have been solved if it were up to the adults in positions of power.
I listened to the audiobook and thought that the narrator did a fabulous job with the series. Bethan Rose Young does a wonderful job of bringing Myrtle and the rest of the cast to life. I am certain that her narration only added to my enjoyment of this story. I do recommend this delightful series to both middle-grade readers and adults. I cannot wait to read the next book!

This was great! Myrtle was such an intelligent girl and I loved the fact that the adults in her life supported her and were a significant part of the story. The crime in this story was surprisingly complex and kept me guessing until the end. I was hooked by this story early on and found it almost impossible to set aside. Where were middle-grade books like this when I was younger?
12-year-old Myrtle is a fantastic character. She is more intelligent than most of the adults in the story and is always looking into something and constantly making observations. When a neighbor dies, Myrtle decides that she needs to look into it and she will stop at nothing to get to the bottom of things. The Victorian setting was incredibly well done and only added to the story’s charm.
I listened to the audiobook and thought that the narrator did a fantastic job of bringing this story to life. Bethan Rose Young did such a great job of representing this fun cast of characters. I found her voice to be very pleasant and didn’t want to stop listening. I cannot wait to read the next book in this fun middle-grade series!

This was great! I must say that I liked this book even more than I liked the first book in the series. El is no longer a loner and has a group of friends that she seems to work well with. I really enjoyed seeing El and the rest of the students work together to solve a major problem, which just happens to how to survive graduation. I love the way that El has become a leader in the school and the way that everyone seems to look to her for answers.
I was thrilled to see the progress in the relationship between El and Orion. I think that these two are really good together and I love the connection that they share. They are both very good at magic and have taken on a lot of the responsibility for getting everyone out safely. Anisha Dadia continues to do an excellent job with the narration of this series. I thought that she added a lot of action and excitement to her reading. This book ended on a bit of a cliffhanger which left me eager to jump into the next book in the series.

I thought that this one was fun. This book has been on my radar since it was first published. The cover redesign grabbed my attention again so I decided to move this book to the top of my tbr pile. Reed and Darcy were great together and I loved the chemistry that they shared. I thought that parts of the book were rather funny and had a really good time with it in the end. I am so glad that I finally got around to giving this book a try.
Reed is at the top of the list on the Bad Bachelors app. This is an app where women can rate the men they date and Reed has an abundance of negative reviews. This has had an impact on not only his dating life but his professional life as well. Darcy is a tattooed librarian that almost made it down the aisle a year ago and is having trouble trusting someone again. Both Darcy and Reed have some family issues that they are dealing with which were very relatable. These two were great together. I wanted to see things work out for them and felt like they were meant to be.
I listened to the audiobook and thought that Kendall Taylor did a great job with this story. I thought that she portrayed a wide range of emotions through her reading. The character voices that she used in her narration were distinctive and believable. I feel that her narration added to my overall enjoyment of this story.

I liked this book well enough but I didn’t love it. I didn’t really feel the romance and as a result, I never seemed to have any problem putting the book down to do something else. I felt like it took me a lot longer to read this book than it should have so I decided to switch over to the audiobook to speed things up a bit. There were a lot of things that I really liked and I am glad that I decided to pick this book up.
Wren is in his early 20s and is still waiting on his first kiss. He wants that kiss to be special and has had a few close encounters. In a weak moment, he sends out the emails that he kept in his drafts to the few people that came close to having a moment with him. Derick receives one of these emails and they end up reconnecting as a result.
My favorite parts of the book dealt with Wren’s special project of premiering a movie at the local drive-in that he works at as manager. The only obstacle is the movie’s creator, Alice. I really enjoyed Alice’s character and thought that the friendship she formed with Wren was very well done. I also thought that the way that Wren figured out so many things about himself in this book, including some important things about his sexuality.
I think that this is the first time that I have listened to Mark Sanderlin’s narration and I thought that he did a great job with this book. I liked the voices that he used for the characters and thought that he had a very pleasant voice. I would definitely listen to this narrator’s work again in the future.
