Gwenette I love your review; made me want to read it immediately. I added it to my reading list. :-)

Alisa I think this is definitely your kind of book. The only reason that didn't occur to me immediately is that it's not set in the American South.

Gwenette LOL. I read lots of stuff not set in the South. :-) And I don't always enjoy things set in the South. But I'm always encouraged to work on my novel when I see other successful stories set in the South.

Alisa Does that mean I have to start reading Southern novels and passing them along to you if I want to see the next chapter of Laughing with a Southern Accent?

Gwenette No, I swear I'm going to work on another chapter soon.

Jennifer Loved your review!

dont agree with:
-strong silent types as romantic leads, most people are in fact this in real life.
totally agree with :
-parrots getting more page time than goats, obviously goats are cooler than parrots and this was a gross mistake in the book.

Sharon Concise review. It made me smile.

Anne I like strong silent types, but I agree with the rest of your comments. :)

I think strong silent types are attractive....but I am concerned for perky heroines. In five years time, they may be disappointed.

Lacy I loved the parrots name. I can't even remember a goat in this book so it was majorly upstaged by the parrot. Poor goat.

I'm adding..
like: large boned women who carry parrots on their shoulder and read head bumps

Bernadette This made me smile. But I disagree on the strong silent types...I think there should be more heroes like that rather than some suave, debonair who knows how to say the right words without backing it up. But then, that's just me. :)

Rayni Your review made me smile. I loved Zenobia. I know there was a goat, can't remember it's name. Luckily I have this book & can go look it up. Maybe I'll make a margin note.

Nicole What's wrong with adorable children?

Virgie Nice review; very witty a lot like the book :)

⭐️Ellen⭐️ The parrot is really the best part. I love the parrot.

Chris C R Stewart I savored this as an audio book

Hali Wagner Congratulations on the most hilarious review I have ever read. Even if you didn’t mean it to be funny and even though I don’t agree, your bluntness made me laugh aloud. 👍🏼

HR-ML Thanks for witty and concise review!

Andrea haha

AmyAmy Loved your review. And the little girl was so sicky saccharine sweet that I wanted to throw up.
