4 Disturbing Intriguing Stars!
"So small. So very, very small.
The tiny fingers clawed desperately under the edge of the door.
Straining fingers. Straining to reach her.
"Benjamin, please stop," she whispered."
This was disgustingly good! Two women, Jenni and Katie, find each other among the chaos of the walking dead, both have lost everything dear to them. This is the story their survival, finding others who live, and creating a new life in the face of death! Great read anytime, but with Halloween right around the corner...well just sayin'!
Very well written, descriptive to the point that I was nearly gagging, but then after a while it became amusing and exciting. I was clutching Kip so tight and wanted to kill the zombies myself...pop some heads! On to book 2...with an ending of "The worst was yet to come…" lordy, lordy I can't imagine it could get much more horrific, but I guess it does and I NEED to find out what happens, although I am a little scared for my zombie hunting friends!
Thanks Sunny for the rec, not only are you a connoisseur in all things monster porn, you know your apocalyptic fiction too!!

Yay, you liked it. I thought this book was liked reading an episode of the show The Walking Dead. Do you plan to read the rest of the trilogy soon? I still need to get to book 3 at some point.

Great review!! Sounds like a really neat Halloween book.Is this appropriate for my 16 year old son who has read every single one of the Walking Dead books?
X-Files is awesome, Walking Dead is awesome. Now I'm hooked on Revolution about the power going out - not zombies, but pretty cool.

Oh I also love American Horror Story which is out in like a week I believe? It's so far fetched and unbelievable. I watched a few of the 1st eps with my sister and she was shaking her head saying 'whatever' and I was sitting on the edge of the couch saying 'WOAH! MAD!!!' ha ha

Thanks Kris! Yes, it's gory, but what 16 year old doesn't love that! One non-descript sex scene, just a fade to black. I was actually thinking your son would like this when I was reading it.
Yes, Zombieland...excellent...don't forget to the double tap!! LMAO, I think I've seen that movie at least 6 times. I was talking about a book called The Zombie Survival Guide, my son has it and loves it.
Another fave movie of mine is Shaun of the Dead, hysterical. I'm also a huge fan of the Resident Evil movies!!
