Our hero and heroine have reached that point of the marriage where all they seem to do is make each other angry. Instead of talking to each other about the minor stuff that escalated in their romance, they seek out the help of a professional. Good idea. I think everyone should go to therapy, some more than others. Myself included.
So on a quiet morning before their appointment, the world changes. Our couple discover this when they walk in on their therapist eating her clients. Pay your bill, folks.

This author does a brilliant job at writing fight scenes, and keeping the tension at just the right level. Excellent character development. I love that they continue to heal their marriage while fighting for their lives. Sometimes it just takes a Zombie Apocalypse to make people communicate. Which is lucky after what happened to their therapist.
