Water for Elephants

This is a historical fiction. I this book follows a man that is in a nursing home, but through out the book he has flash backs that bring us to his younger shelf. He work on the circus when he was younger. I have to say that some parts of the story was hard to read, but that was how life was back in the time point that the book flashes back too. We cannot change history now, but we should never forget it. That is why I love reading historical fiction and learning about parts of our history. I really enjoy following that man though out this book, and it made me say my grandmother will never go into a nursing home.

I have had this book sitting on my shelf ever since it came out...I keep looking at it, and moving past it. I love your comment, 'We cannot change history now, but we should never forget it.' I totally agree Tina. If we forget or obliterate parts of history we are preventing future generations from learning from those mistakes. Wonderful review. And I will pick this up to read soon. 😷❤😍📚

I have to say this book should some really hard to read parts, so well all this craziness is going may not be the best time if hard topics (animals being mistreated and things like that) betters you a lot when you read them.

Great review, Tina. I had this in my. List for the longest time, but I know I won’t read it because of the abuse that’s in it. I’m glad you were able to read it and that you enjoyed it in spite of the tough parts. ❤️❤️

This book made me think and hit me so hard in the heart. I cried a lot while reading this book, but I sometimes want a book that does that to me. Thank you.
Lovely review! That’s a great takeaway message. Glad you enjoyed this one too! I agree that parts of it were challenging to read.
And the movie is good too
